Bike Ride Earth Day Bike Ride

We invite the community to join us for the Umpqua Velo Club Earth Day Ride on Earthday. Meet at Kruse Farms. on Melrose Road. 11:30 AM and ride at noon. This is an approximately 27 mile ride, round trip. This is an approximately 27 mile ride, round trip. See Map My Ride for route details. Please park at the east end of Kruse Farm's parking lot. The route begins at Kruse Farms and travels Melrose Road to Melqua Road to Hubbard Creek Road/Ft. McKay Road to the Lighthouse Bakery and Cafe for lunch/snacks. The return trip is via Garden Valley Road and back to Kruse Farms. It is a day held to demonstrate and promote environmental awareness and calls for the protection of our planet and is celebrated in 139 countries.

Bike Ride Bike Travel Week-end Overnight Camping Bike Trip

The Umpqua Velo Club participates on Adventure Cycling's National Bike Travel Week-end with an overnight camping trip to a local campground. The destination changes every year.

Bike Ride McKenzie Pass Bike Ride

June TBA- McKenzie Pass is closed in winter due to snow and open to bicycles-closed to motors from when the snow plows start clearing until about the third Monday in June.
Umpqua Velo Club organizes a ride each year depending on snow conditions.

Bike Ride National Parks Crater Lake Vehicle Free Days Ride the Rim

September Crater Lake National Park
The park will host two biking days on East Rim Drive, in September.
This will be a perfect opportunity for park visitors to bike on 24 miles of road without cars and enjoy spectacular views of America's deepest lake and surrounding forests.
